Dr. Ana Isabel N. Sotomango has been in a teaching profession for more than ten years as part-timer in Our Lady of Fatima (OLFU) and thirty-six years in government service at DOJ-Parole and Probation Administration, occupying a managerial position. Her educational background in Statistics and experiences in managerial work such as planning, program monitoring and evaluation has made her competent to handle courses in Graduate Studies such as Statistics, Business Administration and Public Administration. She is an accredited Statistician of OLFU-Graduate School and involves in various technical committee in DOJ-PPA. She is fond of doing research and statistical work.
As an AIDE Module Writer, she is likewise available for the Institute’s thesis writing as Advisor and Penal Evaluator. Dr. Ana took her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Public Administration at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and her BS Statistics degree from the University of the East Manila. Her vast government experience and managerial work at the Department of Justice—PPA made her combine both theory and practice in teaching and in effective writing of learning resource materials and books.
