Dr. Ramon C. Nivera

Dr. Ramon C. Nivera is one of the Board of Directors of the Asian Institute for Distance Education, Currently, he serves as the Treasurer & Director at Canlubang Glof & Country Club, Inc. He obtained his Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA) at Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government. He also took graduate studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated at the Ateneo de Manila University with the degree AB Economics.
As an advocate of distance education system, he believes that open learning system will truly expand the role of higher education in the Philippines by engaging learners who previously had no opportunity to further their education.
