Mr. Ricky Mojico Abundo

Mr. Ricky Mojico Abundo is currently employed in the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) holding the position of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) in the Human Resource Development Division of the Administrative Staff (AS). He was previously assigned as CAO, Assets Management Division of AS. He has an extensive background in human resources management, assets management, and other allied administrative matters and governance having been exposed to the same functions for the past 19 years of his government service. He was, at times, designated as Officer-in-Charge Director IV of the AS. He also worked in the Human Resource Management Office, Office of the President of the Philippines from 11 February 1999 to 27 March 2014 and held the position of Presidential Staff Officer VI (Division Chief) from 02 April 2003 to 27 March 2014 until his lateral transfer to NEDA in March 28, 2014.
He earned his Doctor in Public Administration and Master in Public Administration in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila in 2004 and 2000, respectively. On the other hand, he finished his Bachelor in Secondary Education in Bicol University, Legazpi City. He is a part-time special lecturer in the President Ramon Magsaysay School of Government (Undergraduate and Graduate Schools) under the off-campus program of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Manila, from April 2009 to present, and in the Graduate Studies and Applied Research, De La Salle Araneta University, Malabon City from September 2017 to present where he teaches various management, public administration, human resources, politics subjects, and among other related subjects.
At AIDE, he has written modules on general education subject.
